Explore EnACT collective’s legacy and current collaborations in systems change—transforming how leaders and organizations navigate complexity.
A Legacy of Transformation — and What’s Emerging Next
For nearly two decades, EnACT collective has helped organizations, foundations, and networks navigate the invisible layers of transformation — the relationships, values, and mindsets that shape systems far beyond strategy alone.
Founded by Stina Brown (she/they), our practice was built inside living systems: From early collaborations with Hollyhock’s Social Change Institute, the Academy for Systems Change and McConnell Foundation, to multi-sector partnerships spanning environment, equity, and governance — our approach has continuously evolved through authentic relationships, co-design, transformative facilitation, and visualization that helps people see the systems they’re trying to change.
New Collaboration: The Ecosystem Project
We are proud to be part of the growing movement behind The Ecosystem Project, an initiative led by Rob Brodnick and Karyn Zuidinga that offers a groundbreaking framework for navigating complexity and making lasting change in human systems.
The Ecosystem Project introduces accessible tools and guided processes that help leaders, teams, and communities:
- See the system as it truly is — not just from one vantage point.
- Work across multiple orders of complexity: transactional, functional, strategic, and ecosystemic.
- Engage diverse stakeholders in sensemaking and collective action.
- Sustain momentum and adapt in times of uncertainty.
This collaboration builds on EnACT’s long history in systems transformation — bringing together our visual facilitation, process design, and coaching methods with The Ecosystem Project’s powerful structure for understanding complexity.

Our Approach: be aware of the system you’re in
At EnACT collective, we help leaders and teams see the interconnected nature of culture, structure, and purpose — and act from that awareness with integrity and imagination. We work across the inner and outer dimensions of systems change — mindsets, relationships, structures, and strategy — to create the conditions for meaningful alignment, collective learning, and sustained movement forward
This approach strengthens trust, clarifies priorities, and fosters cultures that are resilient, relational, and truly ready for the future.
“Stina creates the right environment for the best possible outcome.”
